“If you could spend eternity with just one precious memory, what would it be?”

Welcome to After Life, the bureaucratic waiting room between life and death. It is Monday. The task at hand: You must chose a single memory before you leave at the end of week – the implication being that this memory is all that will remain of you.

At end of the week, your memory will be recreated with the help of the After Life Guides… but what happens when you resist, defy, or forget your past?

Jack Thorne’s After Life is a story of loss, reminiscence, and the beauty of letting go. The cast of the Guides and the Guided are witty and whimsical, yet compassionate and authentic, making this a play crafted to reflect us, the audience, as it prompts us to question what it means to truly live and how we want to be remembered.
