In the wake of the startling suicide of a yo-yo prodigy, Forest Ridge Middle School tries to heal — while also preparing for the yearly talent show. Following three of Harold’s classmates and the adults who are supposed to support them, this dark comedy explores the place where empathy veers into ego, the ways misogyny permeates methods of care, and the struggle to truly honor each other.
